Dr. Khan is a graduate of Dow Medical College, Pakistan. He did his internal medicine residency from St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, Massachusetts, an affiliate of University of Massachusetts. He did his Pulmonary and Critical care fellowship from University of Texas, Houston and MD Anderson cancer Center.

Dr. Khan is board-certified in Pulmonary medicine, Critical care medicine, and Sleep medicine. He is a fellow American College of chest physicians. Dr. Khan has a special interest in diagnosis and management of interstitial lung diseases. He has been associated with K.C Pulmonary Associates since 2003.
